Independent firm, Principled Technologies, tested a failover cluster configuration with Hyper-V VMs on Dell servers running Exchange, SharePoint and SQL Server. The average CPU utilization for each VM and the host server demonstrate that the servers were able to handle the workloads with room to spare. And when power was abruptly removed from one of the hosts, the failover server began running in under a minute.
